To track a UniUni parcel, enter your tracking number on the official UniUni tracking page. The number is in the seller's shipping confirmation email, in your account with that retailer, or printed on the label. Because UniUni is a last-mile carrier, your parcel may have travelled under a different number before entering its network: that is the most common reason tracking appears to start late.
How to track a UniUni parcel
There are three places your UniUni parcel is visible, and they do not always show the same thing at the same moment:
- UniUni's own tracking page: the most current source once the parcel is inside its network. It shows each successive scan, from sorting through to delivery.
- The seller's account or email: convenient because you are already there, but often a few hours behind the actual scans.
- A multi-carrier tracking tool: useful when a parcel changes carriers mid-journey, which is common on cross-border lanes.
If you are the recipient, start with UniUni's page. If you are the merchant who created the shipment, your shipping platform stays the reference: it is what ties the tracking number back to the order, the customer and the invoice.
Where to find your UniUni tracking number
The number usually appears in the shipping confirmation email the seller sends, in the orders section of your account with that seller, or printed below the barcode on the label. Formats vary with the shipment type and how the parcel entered the network, so do not assume a number that looks different from the last one is invalid.
One important point: a tracking number the UniUni page accepts but shows no events for does not mean the parcel is lost. It usually means the label was created and the parcel has not been scanned into the network yet. Always confirm the estimated delivery date shown by the seller or, if you are shipping yourself, at the rate step: that is the only date that applies to your specific lane.
What UniUni tracking statuses mean
UniUni does not publish an official dictionary of its statuses, and the exact wording can change. These are the categories you will see in practice, and what each one actually means for you:
| Status shown (category) | What it means | Do you need to act? |
|---|---|---|
| Information received / label created | The seller created the label. The parcel is not in UniUni hands yet. | No: wait for the first scan |
| In transit | The parcel is moving between facilities. Several days with no new scan is normal on a long lane. | No |
| Arrived at facility / sorting | The parcel is at a regional sort centre, often the last step before a driver is assigned. | No |
| Out for delivery | The parcel is on a driver route for the day. With UniUni, that day can run into the evening. | No: wait until late evening |
| Delivered | The driver marked delivery, usually with a proof photo where one is available. | Only if nothing arrived |
| Delivery attempted / exception | Address not found, access blocked, or a sorting problem. This is the one status that needs you. | Yes |
My UniUni tracking is not updating: what to do
Stalled tracking is almost always a scan question, not a lost parcel. Parcels are scanned at fixed points, not continuously: between two points nothing happens on screen even though the truck is moving. Three causes cover the large majority of cases:
- The parcel has not entered the UniUni network yet. Common on cross-border orders: the parcel first travels under a linehaul carrier number, then UniUni takes over for the last mile.
- The parcel is waiting in sorting. Peak periods (sales, holidays, weekends) lengthen the time spent in a facility before a driver is assigned.
- A scan was missed. The parcel still moves, and the status corrects itself at the next scan, sometimes jumping straight to out for delivery.
Practical rule: one or two business days without movement does not justify an inquiry yet. If several business days pass with no new event at all, contact the seller who shipped the parcel. This matters: UniUni works for the merchant, not the recipient, so an inquiry opened by the shipper almost always moves faster than a request sent directly by the person receiving it.
Marked delivered but nothing arrived
This is the most frustrating situation, and it often has an ordinary explanation. Before opening a claim, run these checks in order:
- Look at the delivery photo if one is available: it shows exactly where the parcel was left, which settles a good share of cases.
- Check the usual drop spots: back door, vestibule, under the balcony, with the building manager, or beside the shared mailbox.
- Ask the immediate neighbours: a misread address on the same street is more common than theft.
- Wait until the end of the following day: a parcel marked delivered slightly early at the end of a route sometimes arrives a few hours later.
If none of that turns it up, the seller is still your contact. They hold the shipping contract, they can open an inquiry with UniUni, and they decide on a refund or a reship. Keep the tracking number and a screenshot of the delivered status with its timestamp: those are the two things you will be asked for.
If you are the merchant doing the shipping
Tracking one parcel is simple. Tracking three hundred parcels spread across five carriers is not. When some of your shipments go out with a last-mile carrier like UniUni and the rest with Canada Post, Purolator, UPS or FedEx, the real cost is not the rate: it is the time spent opening five different sites to answer "where is my order".
That is the problem a shipping platform solves: one dashboard, every shipment tied back to its order and its customer, and the status visible without switching tabs. MesColis is not the only tool that does this and does not claim to be: we compare Canadian carriers side by side, each with its real delivery date, and we keep tracking in the same place as the label. Free account, no contract, no minimum volume.
For a one-off lookup, our public tracking page is free and needs no signup: it auto-detects Canada Post, UPS and FedEx. A UniUni number is looked up on UniUni’s own tracking page.
Frequently asked questions
How do I track a UniUni parcel in Canada?
Enter your tracking number on the official UniUni tracking page. The number comes from the seller's shipping email or your account with that retailer. The status updates at each scan, not continuously.
Why is my UniUni tracking not updating?
Most often because the parcel has not entered the UniUni network yet, or it is waiting in sorting. One to two business days without movement is normal. Beyond that, go through the seller to open an inquiry.
Can UniUni deliver after 6 PM?
Yes. The network runs on independent drivers who often take route blocks in the evening, so a parcel that is out for delivery at 5 PM can still arrive the same night.
