Canpar, part of TFI International, offers three services across Canada: Ground in 1 to 4 business days, Select in 1 to 3 and Express next day, guaranteed. Nationex, a Quebec courier, advertises 24 hours in most regions of Quebec and Ontario and 3 to 5 days elsewhere, with no published guarantee. In Quebec, compare both on your route.
Two couriers, two models
Canpar Express was founded in 1976 and has been part of TFI International since 2002. It has more than 55 terminals and more than 800 SMARTSpot locations to drop off or pick up a parcel, and it also ships to the continental United States and more than 215 countries.
Nationex has been active since 1980, with its head office in Saint-Hubert, Quebec. Rather than a range of services, it publishes two delivery zones: 24 hours in most regions of Quebec and Ontario, 3 to 5 days in the rest of Canada. Its Ontario page adds next day across the Greater Toronto Area and the Quebec–Ontario corridor.

Holidays: two different calendars
Both carriers close for Quebec's Fête nationale on June 24, but their 2026 calendars are not identical. Here is what remains of the year, according to the calendar each one publishes.

How to choose for your parcel
- Parcel between two cities in Quebec or Ontario, not urgent: compare Nationex and Canpar Ground on the same route.
- Parcel that must arrive next day, with recourse if late: Canpar Express; Nationex publishes no guarantee.
- Delivery before 10 AM, before noon or on Saturday: look at the Canpar Express options, if offered for the address.
- Parcel to the United States or abroad: Canpar, since nationex.com presents no service outside Canada.
- PO box: neither is a good fit; use Canada Post.
- Home delivery: add Canpar's residential charge to the total before comparing.
