There is no universal winner between UniUni and Nationex: the right pick depends on the lane, the delivery address and the parcel. Two carriers for the domestic market
UniUni is a parcel delivery service focused on e-commerce. Nationex is a regional courier. On MesColis, our integration offers each of them only for Canada-to-Canada shipments.
In practice: for a parcel to the US or abroad, neither UniUni nor Nationex will appear in the comparison, and the other carriers that serve the lane will be in the running instead. For a shipment within Canada, the two can compete, and that is where the choice is made.

The real filter: coverage of your lane
Since the destination does not separate them, coverage becomes the first criterion. The two networks do not have the same footprint, and neither one necessarily serves every postal code in the country. Check that the lane is served for both of your addresses, especially outside the major centres, rather than inferring it from a carrier's reputation.
If only one of the two serves your lane, the question is settled for that shipment. If both serve it, move on to the total price and the estimated date for the same parcel.
The delivery address: PO boxes
UniUni says it does not deliver to post offices or PO boxes. Nationex generally needs a street address: confirm it for your shipment. If your customer gave a PO box, confirm the address with them or use an eligible Canada Post service instead.
Compare rates for the same parcel
There is no universal price winner. The result changes with the postal codes, the actual weight, the packed dimensions, the dimensional weight and the options you choose. Whether a carrier is regional or focused on e-commerce says nothing about the price of your parcel.
- Use the same postal codes, weight and packed dimensions for both quotes.
- Compare the total, not the base rate: surcharges, fuel and options add up.
- Record the exact service each carrier offers, not just its name.
- For a multi-box shipment, compare the total for all the boxes, not the price of one.
Transit and handover
Do not infer transit time from the size of a network or a one-off experience. Check the estimated date shown for the chosen service and both addresses, and account for the day the parcel is actually handed to the carrier. An estimate is not a guarantee.
For each of the two carriers, check the pickup or drop-off options available at your address before promising a ship date to your customers. Print the label before handover and note the cut-off time for your area: a parcel handed over after the cut-off leaves the next business day.
