UPS sells distinct service levels that the shipper picks by urgency: each has its published transit, and three of them are guaranteed. UniUni describes itself as a last-mile delivery service: it takes parcels from online merchants and delivers them to the door, with an offer ranging from next day to 7 days and no transit table by city.
At UniUni, the delivery date is only reliable once UniUni has received the parcel, according to its FAQ. Parcels are dropped off at a UniUni Store or a UniUni Point, with a noon cut-off for Next Day Delivery.

Neither UPS nor UniUni publishes a rate that names a winner for every shipment. The total depends on both postal codes, actual or dimensional weight, packed size and the chosen service. Compare UniUni with the UPS service at the same level of urgency: a parcel due in a few days compares with UPS Standard, not UPS Express.
How to choose for your parcel
- Guaranteed next-business-day delivery: UPS Express Saver or Express; UniUni does not publish a guarantee.
- Parcel to Yukon, the Northwest Territories or Nunavut: UPS Express or Express Saver.
- Rural address: check that UniUni serves the address, since by its own figure its network covers 80% of Canada.
- Recipient often away: UniUni asks for no signature and photographs the delivery location.
- PO box: neither one; use Canada Post.
